St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Omunwei, Igwuruta is a vibrant faith community located in Rivers State, Nigeria. As a parish under the Catholic Diocese of Port Harcourt, we are committed to spreading the Gospel, serving our community, and living out the teachings of Jesus Christ in our daily lives.
Our Identity
We are a community of believers dedicated to worship, fellowship, and service. Our parish is named after St. Patrick, the patron saint of Ireland, who was known for his unwavering faith, missionary spirit, and dedication to spreading Christianity. Our Guiding Scripture
"You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven."
- Matthew 5:14-16
